I chose family medicine because it allows me to not only build lasting relationships with patients, but treat the whole person – mind, body, and spirit – instead of only treating the illness.
I enjoy caring for all ages, from infants to great-grandparents, with a focus on preventing health issues before they happen. With a background in Integrative Medicine, I also recognize the value in a broader approach to healing, including counseling on complementary therapies such as nutrition, massage, biofeedback, herbal medicine, acupuncture, chiropractic treatments and stress reduction techniques. For some, a Pilates class and an anti-inflammatory diet can be more valuable to their health than taking a prescription drug.
By combining conventional medicine, preventative care and integrative medicine, I can offer my patients the individualized care they need to improve and maintain their health.
