An Expert Team

Led by a board certified vascular surgeon and wound care expert, our multidisciplinary team includes certified wound clinicians, nurse specialists, physical and occupational therapists, as well as respiratory therapists certified in hyperbaric medicine. After identifying the specific causes of your non-healing wound, our specialists begin an individualized and comprehensive care plan - coordinating with your primary care or referring physician to ensure your treatment supports your overall health and medical needs. A combination of unusual expertise and remarkable compassion allows our wound care team to consistently earn near-perfect patient satisfaction.

Hyperbaric Medicine

State-of-the-art hyperbaric oxygen therapy is available to help troublesome wounds caused by diabetes, circulatory disorders, compromised skin grafts, necrotizing soft tissue infections, and certain other conditions. This innovative treatment allows patients to breathe pure oxygen, causing the blood to carry 15 to 20 times the normal amount of oxygen to the body's tissues. Because the body's own wound-healing mechanisms are oxygen dependent, hyperbaric oxygen therapy successfully stimulates cell growth, improves circulation and increases immune function. Usually administered daily, patients are able to relax, watching television or listening to music, inside a clear, comfortable chamber, while a respiratory therapist certified in hyperbaric medicine carefully monitors the session.
