Emergency Services Print E-mail

As one of Orange County’s largest and most sophisticated emergency facilities, we provide state-of-the-art medical treatment to patients regardless of the severity of illness or injury.

Our Emergency Department (ED) offers board certified emergency medicine physicians and access to the area’s finest specialists. Our staff’s training and expertise is widely recognized, making us one of the county’s only hospitals to serve as an on-the-spot resource for paramedics in the field.

And since saving lives is often measured in seconds – not minutes, we offer the most advanced diagnostic and imaging technology. The newest generation multi-detector CT scanner and a state-of-the-art Cardiac Catheterization Lab are among the sophisticated technology available to provide pinpoint accuracy in diagnosis and treatment.

Our successful Chest Pain Program, located within the Emergency Department, features the latest noninvasive cardiac monitoring as well as the expertise of highly respected cardiologists. The Chest Pain Program's arrival-to-drug time for heart attack patients – a common measure of quality – is significantly less than the community average, an accomplishment measured in saved lives.

Work Conditioning Program
Intensive, goal-oriented treatment which focuses on improving strength, endurance and awareness of body mechanics, through activity and work stimulation. Patients with traumatic hand, joint or back injuries, enter this outpatient program after the acute medical or surgical phase of their treatment. Work conditioning is designed to restore a patient’s capacity and function, allowing them to return to work.
