Have you ever wondered what Pilates is or if it's right for you? If
so, join us for our Pilates Orientation!
The Pilates Orientation is geared towards people who want to learn more
about the fundamentals of Pilates and how it could benefit both the mind
and the body. We dispel myths like the belief that you have to be an experienced
dancer to participate or that Pilates is too difficult. Participants in
the Pilates Orientation will be introduced to each piece of equipment
in the studio and an instructor will demonstrate modified exercises. Also,
participants will experience basic Pilates exercises on the mat as well
as the reformer as an introduction to the Pilates movement principles.The
Pilates Orientation is an hour and a half. This includes both observational
learning as well as hands on instruction.
