Light Up A Life

This year's Light Up A Life Service of Remembrance will be held on Sunday, November 2, 2014. We hope you'll join us for this special service. As long-time Light Up A Life donor Nancy Huebotter shared after last year's event, "Having each person bring a lighted candle to the front of the chapel and announce the name of the loved one they were remembering was very moving and powerful."

If you would like to make a gift to Light Up A Life in honor or memory of a loved one, click here or contact Sonya Longbotham, Development Manager, at (714) 446-5871 or Sonya.Longbotham@stjoe.org.

We light candles in memory of those we love, so their light may continue to shine.

A Walk Among the Stars

Thank you to all who joined us for the 25th Anniversary A Walk Among the Stars Fashion Show and Luncheon! The event – featuring current cancer patients and survivors from St. Jude Medical Center – raised over $210,000 and counting for the clinical trials program at St. Jude Crosson Cancer Institute.

Please enjoy the video from last year's event:

St. Jude Medical Center's 37th Annual Golf Classic

Save the date for the 2015 Golf Classic on Monday, May 18th!

Thanks to our generous supporters, our 2014 Golf Classic raised nearly $200,000 to support St. Jude Medical Center's stroke care through the purchase of equipment and technology for patient rooms in the new Northwest Patient Tower, which is scheduled to open in November 2014. Acquiring this advanced technology, such as the neuro-biplane, has opened up the vast world of interventional neurovascular procedures at St. Jude Medical Center.

Proceeds from this year's Golf Classic will continue the momentum of transforming stroke care at St. Jude. Your generosity will help provide equipment and technology in the tower's unit for stroke patients, featuring a peaceful outdoor healing garden, a physical therapy room, two nurses' stations, a family consultation room, and a comfortable waiting room for visitors. Your support is an essential piece to providing a continuum of care for stroke patients at St. Jude Medical Center.

2014 John Lin Memorial Golf Tournament

For information about this special tournament in memory of John Lin, a longtime member of the St. Jude Memorial Foundation Board of Directors, contact Katie Flores, Fundraising Events Manager, at (714) 446-5853.

Neighbors Helping Neighbors

Our 2014 Neighbors Helping Neighbors dinner was a wonderful achievement! 240 people attended the event at the Summit House Restaurant in Fullerton and we raised over $108,000 in support of our Care for the Poor program.

Please enjoy the video presentation that was shown at the Neighbors Helping Neighbors dinner to learn more about the St. Jude Neighborhood Health Center and our Care for the Poor program.
