Disease or spinal injury can result in the loss of sensation, muscle weakness or paralysis. As one of Southern California’s only CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) accredited spinal cord programs, we offer remarkable expertise in helping patients of all ages rebuild their strength and regain their quality of life.
Our experienced multidisciplinary team specializes in managing the medical issues associated with spinal cord injury and helping patients learn to function independently. Structured therapy programs, physician clinics, coordinated home services, and innovative community re-entry programs are all part of the continuum of care provided.
Traditional therapies – including physical therapy and occupational therapy – play a crucial role in patients' progress, as do specialized services such as driver training, peer support, holistic interventions, community outings, ands sports and recreation programs.
Counseling, support and education – for patients and families alike – help ensure progress and healing that is not only physical, but emotional and spiritual as well. For more information about our Spinal Cord services, plase call us at (714) 992-3000 ext. 3886.
