Respiratory Care addresses a broad range of conditions that affect the way we breathe. Our lung specialists, including pulmonologists, respiratory therapists and thoracic surgeons, provide comprehensive care to patients suffering from asthma, emphysema and other respiratory illnesses, as well as patients recovering from surgeries and trauma.

St. Jude Medical Center offers the most advanced treatments to improve pulmonary function in patients ranging from newborn to seniors. A partial list of therapeutic services includes:

Our Pulmonary Functions Lab, located on the Medical Center’s first floor, provides comprehensive diagnostic services in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

We also offer an innovative Respiratory Wellness Program which successfully improves the quality of life for hundreds of people living with a pulmonary condition. This comprehensive program combines the multi-disciplinary efforts of pharmacy, psychiatry, physical and occupational therapy as well as respiratory therapy.
