Occupational Therapy Print E-mail

Our highly trained occupational therapists use familiar, day-to-day activities to help patients regain their independence and quality of life after an illness or injury. We help people of all ages improve or recover their ability to succeed at home, at work and at play.

As one of Southern California’s most respected programs, we provide comprehensive, individualized treatment to patients with brain injury, stroke, cancer and a wide range of other orthopaedic, neurological, and medical conditions.

Our certified therapists successfully help patients:

  • Perform daily activities (such as dressing, cooking, driving)
  • Use adaptive equipment (such as aids for eating and showering)
  • Increase strength and dexterity
  • Improve visual, perceptual and cognitive skills
  • Return to meaningful life tasks (such as work or school)
  • Regain behavioral and social skills
  • Manage medications, time, and finances
  • Participate in hobbies, crafts and sports
