Shortly after establishing Fullerton Hospital in the 1930's, the Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange used the hospital to provide housing for those left homeless by the Santa Ana River flood. That passion for community service remains an integral part of St. Jude today, as does the Sisters’ original vision: to reach beyond the walls of our facilities and improve the health and quality of life of the communities we serve.

Each year we devote a percentage of our net income to outreach activities and services that help rebuild lives and care for the underserved and disadvantaged. Through partnerships with schools, businesses and local community groups we develop solutions that will have a lasting impact on our community.

Examples of our ongoing community service activities include Mobile Health Clinics, Children’s Dental Services and School Programs.
