Cancer Rehabilitation and Wellness: Helping You Heal and Recover

A cancer diagnosis can be traumatic, but so can life-saving treatments. Chemotherapy, radiation therapy and surgery can cause serious, even debilitating, side effects. Our Cancer Rehabilitation and Wellness Program was created to help you heal, both physically and emotionally, more quickly and more completely.

Using advances in oncology rehabilitation, our team of experts can help minimize or eliminate symptoms such as fatigue, pain, weakness, insomnia, memory loss, fear, anxiety and depression. We're here to help you improve your health and well-being and regain your quality of life.

Newly diagnosed or long finished with treatment, we can help

We serve all cancer survivors, whether you are beginning treatment, finished with treatment, or experiencing unresolved issues from treatment long ago. Our program is open to everyone no matter the prognosis, stage or phase of recovery.

Recently diagnosed patients may want to increase their fitness and prevent future medical problems; survivors living with cancer as a chronic disease may come to us for help managing treatment-related symptoms; and individuals who are cured or in remission may enroll in our program to boost their immune system and recover their strength.

Proud to be the first

We're proud to be the first in California to receive STAR (Survivorship Training and Rehabilitation) certification, considered the gold standard in cancer rehabilitation. With specialized training through the STAR Program, our multidisciplinary team is uniquely qualified to understand and manage the effects of cancer and treatments on daily life.

Already a national leader in rehabilitation of stroke, chronic pain, and brain and spinal cord injury, we're now setting a remarkable new standard of care for those undergoing cancer treatment or living with its aftermath.

Covered by health insurance

Phase 1, or formal therapy, is typically covered by Medicare and most insurance plans, while Phase 2 and 3 are optional
