Breastfeeding Part II: Pumping and Storage of Breast Milk

Whether you are preparing to return to work or just thinking about expressing your breast milk for an occasional bottle, this class will help you get started. Topics covered include: establishing and maintaining an abundant milk supply, introducing a bottle, breast pump options and accessories, tips and techniques for milk expression, safe storage of breast milk and combining working and nursing. You may take this class either before or after the birth of your baby, and babies are welcome to attend.

Baby Saver Class

Learn infant and child CPR in this four-hour class which also focuses on childhood safety. At the end of this class you will be eligible for a participation card through the American Heart Association in Infant/Child CPR.

Grandparents in the Know

Confused about childbirth practices, breastfeeding vs. bottle feeding, infant care in the new millennium? Come learn about the changes that have taken place in childbirth and infant care since your last baby was born.

Sibling Class

Our sibling class is specially designed for the big brother or sister-to-be who is between 3 to 8 years of age. This class helps young children learn what to expect when the new baby arrives. An exciting program with your child in mind, this class includes a video presentation.

Prenatal & Postnatal Yoga

Prenatal Yoga is designed to accommodate a mother's changing needs throughout her pregnancy. Postures focus on developing strength and staying in shape. Focus on gentle stretches help promote relaxation and create a little more space for baby as her pregnancy progresses.

Breathing techniques promote delivery of oxygen to both mother and baby and the closing relaxation activities are excellent for release of any emotional or mental tension. *Designed for those in 2nd or 3rd trimester. Physician clearance is required, so click here to register.

Mommy and Me Yoga

This unique Yoga class utilizes poses that allow a mother to interact with her baby while she participates in her own practice of Yoga. The Yoga postures will focus on helping mom restore alignment and tone and strengthen the pelvic floor. The breathing exercises and ending meditation will assist her in adjusting to the emotional demands of motherhood. Good for getting mom back in shape and to stimulate baby's development, too!
