In addition to providing more complete nutrition than any formula, breast milk is free, convenient, and always the right temperature. It is the easiest for your baby to digest and full of infection-fighting antibodies. More importantly, breast milk reduces your child's risk of SIDS, cancer, diabetes, ear infections and allergies.
And what about mom? Breastfeeding decreases your risk of ovarian cancer, breast cancer, anemia and osteoporosis. It burns calories, helping you lose weight faster and releases hormones that help your uterus return to its normal size.
