Being a good pediatrician starts with listening: when a doctor listens, everything else falls into place. I love caring for different ages, beginning with newborns, and know that my patients feel well-cared for—especially when they graduate from college and still refuse to find an adult medicine physician!

I believe that sometimes a hug is the best medicine (which is why I had to become a pediatrician—too many adults don't understand the value of hugs). I love helping parents and grandparents raise happy, healthy children, because sometimes it does take a village!
