Being a good family practitioner is as much about listening and talking to patients as it is about running tests or prescribing medication. Sometimes family or emotional issues can be as important as medical problems, and my patients know that I am happy to help them in all areas of life. Instead of just caring for one organ or type of condition, I care for the whole patient. I am always pleased to see my patients, many of whom I have taken care of for many years.
