If you need help with a referral, have questions about the managed care process, or have a concern, Customer Service can assist you. Call  (800) 627-8106 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Our Health Education Program offers a wide variety of classes on health topics including asthma, diabetes, weight management, smoking cessation, parenting, and more. Many are free of charge. Small group education and individual programs are available by appointment. Our diabetes classes are recognized by the American Diabetes Association. Talk to your doctor about what classes might benefit you or call (714) 446-7867 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for more information.

You can change your doctor at any time. To get information about a physician, call Customer Service at (800) 627-8106 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Registered nurses are available after hours to answer questions about your or your family’s medical needs. Call the St. Jude Nurse Advice Line at (800) 870-7537. It is open from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. on weeknights, and 24 hours on weekends and holidays.

To get a prescription refilled, call your pharmacist three to five days before it runs out. The pharmacist will contact your doctor’s office for prescription verification.

If you need medical attention while away from home, contact your insurance plan to find out where and how to access care. Once you return home, contact your primary care physician so he or she can determine if follow-up care is necessary.
