After-Hours Care Print E-mail

You don’t get sick just during business hours, which is why we don’t just offer care from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. An appointment with your personal physician should always be your first choice. But if you need to see a doctor or need medical advice at night or on the weekend, we offer:

St. Jude Nurse Advice Line
Highly trained registered nurses are available on evenings and weekends to answer your questions and help you assess your medical needs. The Nurse Advice Line is open from 5 p.m. to 6 a.m. weeknights and 24 hours on weekends and holidays. Call (800) 870-7537, ext. 1.

Medicenter
Located at 2720 N. Harbor Blvd., Suite 130, Fullerton. Services offered on a walk-in basis only, Monday through Friday 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., weekends and holidays 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Extended Care at the Yorba Linda Medical Office
Located at 4900 Prospect Ave., Suite 180, Yorba Linda. Services offered on a walk-in basis only, Monday through Friday 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., weekends 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Closed on holidays.

Emergency Care
If you have a life-threatening emergency, call 911.

St. Jude Medical Center is available to provide emergency treatment. Please keep in mind that – after being triaged by a registered nurse – patients are treated in order of severity, not in order of arrival. If you are unsure whether or not you need emergency care, call your primary care physician. Or call the St. Jude Nurse Advice Line at (800) 870-7537, ext. 1. It’s open from 5 p.m. to 6 a.m. weeknights, and 24 hours on weekends and holidays.

Utilization management criteria is available to St. Jude Heritage Healthcare HMO patients for review. To request a copy, please contact customer service at (800) 627-8106.
