Physicians of Excellence
Forty-six members of SJMC's medical staff were distinguished by the Orange County Medical Association as "2014 Physicians of Excellence." Quality Oncology Practice Initiative (QOPI) Certification Program
St. Jude Heritage Medical Group oncologists and hematologists at the St. Jude Virginia K. Crosson Cancer Center are among the first in the nation to be recognized by the Quality Oncology Practice Initiative (QOPI) Certification Program, an affiliate of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO). The QOPI Certification Program is a new initiative to certify oncology practices that meet rigorous standards for high-quality cancer care.
St. Jude Heritage Medical Group Ranked in Top Three in OC
St. Jude Heritage Medical Group and St. Joseph Heritage Medical Group were recognized as two of the top three physician groups in Orange county, both with an overall rating of 72 out of 100. Twenty-one Orange County physician groups participated California's Patient Assessment Survey.
Primary Stroke Center
The Joint Commission designated St. Jude Medical Center as a Primary Stroke Center, a nationally recognized achievement which honors those hospitals that meet its exacting standards for the treatment of stroke and make exceptional efforts to foster better patient outcomes
Hospital Safety Rating
St. Jude Medical Center earned an 'A' rating from the Leapfrog Group for high standards in patient safety and a commitment to clinical quality.
